Shingles: Owens Corning Tru Definition Duration

Color: Driftwood

The type of roofing material will make no difference if poorly installed. This home had been having a variety of issues due to improper installation. The metal trim for the fascia was installed incorrectly, allowing water to drain off the roof, behind the trim and rot/damage the framing in several locations around the perimeter of the roof system. The skylights were incorrect for this application due to the slope of the roof, they were also leaking. The masonry chimney was in poor condition and leaking. The metal shingle roof system was damaged from foot traffic from poor attempts at making repairs. Our solution…start over

We removed the metal roof system, skylights, sun tunnels, and metal fascia trim. We made the necessary framing repairs, installed new Velux FCM curb mounted skylights, and new Velux Sun Tunnels. We installed a new Owens Corning Tru Definition Duration Driftwood roof system. Our Friends at Kish Masonry rebuilt the chimney. We fabricated and installed new 24ga prefinished steel metal trim and soffit Colonial Red from Coated Metals Group (CMG). What a transformation!
